our invitation letter from the Peace Corps

Welcome to our new blog, Hinge of Africa, a nickname sometimes used for Cameroon. Cameroon is where Gabe and I will spend the next two years, teaching computer literacy in the Peace Corps.

We hope this blog will be a fun, interactive way to keep in touch with everyone while we are in Africa, as well as something good to read for anyone who is interested in the Peace Corps, Africa, culture, world travel, and beyond. We welcome all comments and questions. While at this point, we don’t know how often we will have access to the internet in Cameroon, we hope to be able to share photos, stories, and maybe even some video on this blog throughout our two years of service.

Wow, Cameroon! Please stay safe and may God look after you two. Like the above commenter, I’ll be adding this blog to my google reader. I can’t wait to see Africa through your eyes.
